The perfect solo lunch, with a side of kismet
I was lucky to not only spend four days in Venice reporting on a craft exhibition by Tod’s, but to have a day at the biennale before flying back home. After spending my morning at the Peggy Guggenheim collection, I serendipitously walked by swimwear brand Lido’s pop-up and met its founder Daria, with whom I’ve been DM-ing for years, for the first time. When the question of where I’d go for lunch came up, she more than delivered.
